Sending Love to Google

If you're just starting to build a website, you can follow my steps to send love to Google.

Buy a Domain

I bought the domain www.moomboss.com on Cloudflare for about $10 per year. This replaced the original Cloudflare default domain.

Set up Google Analytics

Google Analytics can be used for user behavior tracking and analysis, traffic source and channel effectiveness evaluation, and user experience and performance improvements.

After completing the application, I found that Cloudflare also has similar functionality. Simple usage might be sufficient.

Set up Google Search Console

Set up Google Adsense

Google AdSense: I created public/ads.txt in the root directory of the Vitepress project (so that ads.txt appears in the root directory after packaging), and added meta information in config.mts, but neither was verified successfully immediately. It may require patience. I'll check again tomorrow.

Implement Google Sitemap

Google Sitemap is an important tool that helps search engines (like Google) discover, crawl, and index website content more efficiently. Actually, my website has very few pages, so it's not essential, but I implemented this feature anyway.

I used vite-plugin-sitemap, and the sitemap.xml file is included in the build zip package. Google can find it through robots.txt. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Starter Guide, this article is an SEO optimization guide. I'll study it more when I have time.
